One of the key objectives of the Development Campaign is to ensure that the fabric of the Cathedral is secured for future generations. While the main structure of the buliding is in a sound condition there are a number of capital projects for which we are seeking help from our supporters. Individuals, Cahritable Trusts, Foundations and businesses are all able to participate in this work. In some cases there are considerable tax advantages in making donations to the Cathedral, following recent changes in taxation law.

These projects will allow us to deliver improved services to those who worship here, those who come to enjoy the outstanding music or the thousands of visitors who arrive from all over the world to marvel at the building, its artefacts and treasures.

The Cathedral is under the constant care of the Fabric Advisory Committee (FAC), a professional architect and other specialist advisers. The Dean and Chapter, members of the Executive Committee of the Development Campaign and the FAC will all work together to implement the work and to ensure it is delivered on time and to budget.
